Spindle motor drive system is one of the core of the key components of NC machine tool, the output performance of the overall level of CNC machine tool is crucial, spindle drive far different from the general industrial drive, not only requires response speed, high precision, fast, and high torque capability requirements of continuous output and wide constant power operation range. At present, the major machine tool manufacturers and research institutes have set our sights on asynchronous motor spindle drive system. With the development of power electronics, computer technology, control theory, new materials and further development of motor design and perfect, asynchronous motor control performance is more and more high, it has gradually replaced the DC motor and permanent magnet synchronous motor, become the main spindle drive system. This paper will serve as the control object asynchronous motor, in-depth study of its working principle, control strategy, build the drive control system, complete the hardware and software design of the system and experimental verification.This article has established the induction motor mathematical model in static three-phase coordinate, the working principle and asynchronous motor mathematical model is established in the basis of the coordinate transformation theory.Active current id and reactive current iq decoupling. And then describes the steady state equivalent circuit of the induction motor, Stator voltage equation is deduced. Analyses the causes of the stator resistance voltage drop, In this paper, based on this, advances a kind of reactive current compensation method for stator resistance pressure drop of closed loop. Focus on voltage space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique’s principle.Analyzed the flux-weakening operation area of the asynchronous motor, then introduces the main weak magnetic control method. Based on voltage and current limit equation limit equation is deduced and the active current and reactive current limiting value, and on this basis weak magnetic controller is designed. Make the induction motor current distribution in the weak magnetic area optimization to improve torque output capacity.Detail the asynchronous spindle motor drive control system hardware and software design scheme. Hardware design part includes TI company ARM chip LM3S818as control core of the control panel circuit intelligent power module FSBS10CH60by fairchild for core driver circuit board and Keyboard display peripheral expansion circuit. The software design include the main program and the interruption program as two major module. The main program to complete the system initialization, the main loop part and keyboard display processing, Interrupt program including complete TO timer underflow interrupt start the AD conversion、AD interrupt V/F control algorithm and CAP capture interrupt.Build asynchronous motor control system of the simulation model according to the actual hardware and software of the system function in Matlab/Simulink simulation environment and make the simulation test and verify based on the actual motor parameters. On the actual motor control system for current loop, speed loop test, Verify the correctness of the control system hardware and software design. For system optimization and improvement of control strategy for the follow-up research work has laid a certain foundation.
