The key part of agricultural products depth machining projects industrydevelopment was orientation device in the fruit transportation process. The researchwork of orientation mechanism provides solid theoretical basis for creating orientationdevice. Its research significance was the most important and it was worth of studying.The working principle of orientation device during fruit transportation process:conveying passage included substantially the both sides of sandwich belt, the bottomof conveyor belt and a number of spring blessing sheet outside of sandwich belt.Because the speed difference between sandwich belt and conveyor belt, the influenceon such regularity appearance size fruit from both side of blessing belt. These factorsapplied appropriate control torque to the conveying fruit. We could achieve theefficient, fast, accurate, and correct fruit orientation.The actual theoretical research of orientation mechanism related to the field of basictheory stability of motion and its applications, higher dynamics, and multi-bodydynamics and so on. The research in this regard was very little at home and abroadand the borrowed references was minimal. Based on this situation, the theoreticalresearch of fruit orientation mechanism was significant in the field of agriculturalmachinery and agricultural products fruit depth processing.The orientation mechanism stems from the theory of stability of motion in thispaper. We established the Euler dynamics equation meeting the requirement accordingto actual motion situation during fruit transportation process. Because the actualproblem was complexity. We needed to make the ideal simplify of actual situationduring establishing formulation. We also encountered the difficulty of solvingmathematical during solution of equation. It was more difficult than before to get theanalytical solution of equation. In order to solve this problem, we applied theLyapunov V function of fruit orientation, judged the result by using the second decision theorem of motion stability and discussed the result of determination. Wecould also get the numerical solution results in different states and related dynamicstable results with the time history by mathematical software, dynamics simulationsoftware and virtual prototyping technology in this paper. In order to verify thecorrectness of theory and the accuracy of simulation, we made field trials oforthogonal test during fruit transportation orientation problem based on high-speedcamera. The results showed that the success rate of orientation was very high, therewere related factors affecting on orientation success obviously, and we got a set ofoptimal experimental combination. At the same time we also found because thecombined effect of blessing belt flexible features and spring-chip incentive, thedisengagement between fruit and conveyor belt sometime. It leaded to slippingphenomenon. We can find the new topic for future research work.
