As an important plastic material, polyurethane foam is widely applied in the field of adhesives, coatings, elastomers, inks, but the paper by brief polyurethane foam materials research progress, we learned that some of the shortcomings of its own, such as the intensity are not high difference, heat-resistant, water-resistant and antistatic properties, limiting its further application. In this regard, some researchers using silicone, acrylic resins, epoxy resins, natural products, and plastic blends and other methods to modify polyurethane foam.In recent years, the Inorganic nonmaterial modified to become one of the primary means of polyurethane modified. Formed through inorganic nonmaterial modified polyurethane inorganic nanocomposites, can significantly improve the mechanical properties and thermal stability of the polymer materials, and give a special performance. However, due to the inorganic nanoparticles price expensive in generally, therefore, the application of polyurethane composites is limited in many respects, which put forward the thesis idea.In this paper, fly ash cenosphere (FACs) as the inorganic mixed material because of its excellent performance, inexpensive and easy to get. First composite polyether were prepared in three ways:(1)fly ash cenosphere composite with the polyether directly,(2) fly ash cenosphere was modified by the four kinds of inorganic acid (hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid) respectively, and then composite with polyether,(3)fly ash cenosphere was modified by the silane coupling agent KH550,and then composite with polyether. The three types of composite polyether composite with the polyurethane monomer in situ polymerization respectively, and there series of polyurethane/fly ash cenosphere composites foam material were prepared by one step polymerization, the structure, morphology, performance test and characterization results show that the composite materials have the complete structure and excellent performance, there are good value and development prospects.
