Asphalt pavement is the most widely used for the pavement structure at home and abroad, but fatigue damage is one of the most serious diseases. Because the hot and humid climate in the South China is more common, it is necessary to make a further discussion and research on the fatigue properties of asphalt pavemen in the condition of the hot and humid climate. Based on the extensive understanding of that at home and abroad ,and starting from the research of asphalt mixture in the hot and humid conditions, this paper has determined to make the freeze-thaw splitting fatigue test as the method of it,contrasting to the indoor fatigue test method.It has choosen three types of gradation for AC-25 coarse-grain asphalt concrete, and determined the optimum amount of asphalt.First, make the freeze-thaw splitting fatigue test of one gradation of three different temperatures under their different stress ratio, then select three types gradation of 25℃to make the test of freeze-thaw and not freeze-thaw splitting fatigue test, and by using N = K (1 /σ) nand lg N = k ? n (σ/ S)to simulate a double logarithmic fatigue curve and Fatigue equation . It analyses the fatigue properties of the asphalt mixture in the hot and humid conditions,and summs up the process of fatigue failure and the factors of the fatigue properties of the asphalt mixture in the hot and humid conditions. Proceeding from this, based on ShuiMa highway it analyses the fatigue properties of asphalt pavement structure in the hot and humid conditions. This subject has an important reference value and an active guidance use to the region in hot and humid climate such as Yunnan in pavement structure design and the analysis of performance.
