As cars are increasing in numbers,traffic problem has also increased.Vehiclestate-aware system which is core of the ITS can make the vehicle schedule moreconveniently, enhance the efficiency of traffic.On the base of researching inland andaboard, this paper did much work on researching this system.Firstly, in view of the problems of exiting systems, a shceme which is fit to cellphone terminal is designed.The design which is based on Andoid use3G to realizecommunication.To meet the need of communication and safe, a communication protocolis designed in this paper.Secondly, in order to satisfy the vehicle sate-aware system whichhas large amount ofdata and strict requirement of real time response, compression algorithm and thecharacteristics of data of the system is analysed in depth. Low compression ratio and nofunction of adjustment of adaptive huffman algorithm is analysed in this paper.In order toincrease higher compress ratios, compressing the data through method of bit map,then thestatic dictionary compression and half byte compression algorithm is used to compressthe data.Finally,Adaptive Huffman compression Algorithm is used to compress thedata,and the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by experiments.Finally, best path problem in vehicle state-aware system which is researched is a keyproblem to make the vehicle scheduling more reasonably. The paper analyses thedeficiencies of the ant colony algorithm which is suitable to solve the best path problemin large and dynamic traffic network. The ant colony algorithm is improved from strategyof searching and path selection aspects by combining characteristics of the best pathproblem. Dynamic traffic model based on vehicle state-aware system is created to solvebest path problem. Effectiveness of the improvements is verified by comparing with antcolony algorithm in experiments.
