Telemetry system is a part of measurement and control system. In the UAV system,telemetry system is indispensable, which can help researchers observe the wholestatus of UAV and airborne equipment without delay. With observing the information,the researchers can send necessary commands to help the UAV finish the taskperfectly.The equipments of ground part of telemetry system is complicated.Currently, it isbad for its universal, flexibility and stability. So it is necessary to establish a smallvolume, good portable and accurate accuracy equipment. With the development ofcomputer, network communication and embedded technology, it is a good opportunityfor the development of telemetry system which can meet the need of battlefields ofthe future.In due to improving the performance and flexibility,32-bit microprocessorARM9(S3C2240A) was the master chip on the subject and the μC/OS-Ⅱ operatingsystem was used, distributed technology was also used in telemetry system. In thecase of less real-time, GPRS module that can reduce costs was used to realize thecommunication of the terminal and control center. The software which obtains saveand playback fuctions can let researchers observe the status of UAV and airborneequipment in the control center and analysis the data afterwards.This subject was researched after mastering the telemetry system principle. Firstof all, the hardware of terminal was designed, which included the choice of chips andthe design of peripheral circuits. Then the software of the equipment was designed,which included the choice of operating system, the transplantation of μC/OS-Ⅱ, thewritten of hardware drivers and the application procedure. On this subject, it used G20module to finish the communication of terminal and control center by TCP/IPprotocol, it also designed the frame format of telemetry data and preamble.It usedDelphi software to design telemetry system on computer, the system can helpresearchers observe the status and flight path of UAV, which also can save data thatwas used to data playback and analysis. At last, UAV task assignment was executed inorder to finishing the task perfectly with observing the telemetry data and missionrequirements. It established the mathematical model, improved algorithm and simulated by MATLAB software.It lay basis for future research.The telemetry terminal is small volume, good portable and accurate accuracy.The system software can be transplanted well, without demanding for hardware. UAVtask assignment was simulated well with MATLAB software. So the subject has avery significant effort for future research.
