| With the development of society, high-speed train has gradually been gained popularity in China,but the noise problems are becoming increasingly concerned by people.The high speed characteristicof the high speed train has made the aerodynamic noise become the main source of noise,since thenoise produced by the interaction of the train and air is increasing exponentially with the increase ofthe train speed,especially for the noise generated by the brake plates those used to control thedeceleration of the train. The brake plate not only produces braking resistance to high-speed trains,but also disturbing noise as some factors such as the separation and loss of the eddy in the field due tothe he existence of the aerodynamic brake plate.Although,the mode of the aerodynamic braking makefull use of the wind energy that is clean,natural,environment protection and energy saving.The paperfocuses on the study of the mechanism of the noise generated by the brake plates on the high-speedtrain as well as the prediction of the noise.Overall,the research about the aerodynamic noise produced by the brake plates on the high speedtrain has practical significance as the study on the aerodynamic noise is still in the initial stage and theresearch results are not rich in China.LES turbulence model is adopted to predict the noise generated by the brake plates thus analysisthe mechanism of the noise by using Fluent. The results shows that:the method is feasible.We canknow the instability of flow field around the brake plates.The fluctuating pressure of the brake plate’surface is the main source of aerodynamic noise that is a broad-band noise without obvious discretefrequency. |
