In recent years, Fan-wing aircraft has been developed as a new large-load, high-efficiency andlow-speed vehicle, Fan blowing device is fixed to the fixed-wing to combine lift with thrust, whichcan achieve more efficiency. This thesis treats Fan-wing aircraft as an object of study. The main workof this thesis is as follow:Firstly, the thesis introduces the research background both at home and abroad, analyzing thesimilarities and differences between fixed wing aircraft and Fan-wing aircraft, and pointing out theFan-wing aircraft has a better performance in many applications.Secondly, the thesis analysts the structure composition and lift principal of the Fan-wing aircraft,based on the modeling method of fixed wing aircraft, the longitudinal and lateral-directionalmathematical model is built. Nonlinear equations are simplified to linear equations by linearperturbation theory, and the model parameters are determined by the computational fluid dynamicssoftware. Based on the mathematical model, an easily realized PID control law is designed.Effectiveness of the control law is verified via a Matlab Simulink program.Thirdly, a comprehensive view of the general design scheme is been introduced based on designrequirement of Fan-wing Flight Controller (FWFC), major device parameters of the system are alsobeen described. Based on the modular design method, the hardware system mainly includesmicrocomputer minimum system module, inertial measurement unit module, magnetic sensor module,altimeter module, RS-232interface module, etc. The drawing and debugging of the PCB has beencompleted. It turns out the hardware system can function normally.Finally, according to the modular design method of system software, various functions moduleare designed and coded, and the system software is extensible, maintainable and reliable. Multi-sensordata fusion is accomplished by complimentary filter method, the attitude algorithm is high-precision.According to the mathematical model of Fan-wing, the semi-physical simulation simulate the flightcontrol software of Fan-wing, the results show that the flight control software can good meet demand.
