A Study On The Technology Of The Cut And Cover Method From Up To Down With Steel Supports Under Pile-soil Interaction In Underground Buildings

In the progress of the urbanization, the contradiction between the expandingurban space and the shortage of the land resource is becoming the prominentcontradiction. The shortage of the land resource has become the bottleneck of thedevelopment of Chinese city. So the development of Chinese city is like that indeveloped countries, make the best use of the underground and the upper. More andmore underground buildings are built in the cities, such as the underground market,the underground parking, the underground warehouse. The excavation of thefoundation becomes deeper and deeper. Because the cut and cover method and the updown method can control the deformation of the deep foundation pit and thesurrounding roads and buildings, and they can shorten construction period, they aredeveloped better. Some methods which take their advantages are used to theunderground buildings, take the cut and cover method from up to down with steelsupports for example. Now the research on the cut and cover method from up to downwith steel supports is very few. It more depends on the experience in use. So it may beeasier to cause economic loss and bad social influence caused by engineeringaccidents in the underground buildings. Based on the project, this paper makes asystematic research on the cut and cover method from up to down with steel supports:First, based on the cut and cover method and the up down method, this paperintroduces the construction principle of the cut and cover method from up to downwith steel supports; in the paper, the author sums up the difficulties of the constructionprocess using the cut and cover method from up to down with steel supports in theproject;Secondly, based on the interaction of the structure-soil-foundation, the authorsums up the influencing factors of the cut and cover method from up to down withsteel supports, and deduces the formula of the interaction of the cut and cover methodfrom up to down with steel supports. In the end, the author introduces the interactionanalysis method.Thirdly, based on the project using the cut and cover method from up to down with steel supports, after making the interaction analysis and comparative analysis ofthe results, the excavation size, the excavation routes, the space of the temporarysupports, and so on, are all calculate out.Finally, based on the analysis and the experience, the author sums up the keyconstruction technology of the cut and cover method from up to down with steelsupports, including the design and the construction of the shape steel pile, the designof the support structure and the waterproof curtain, the construction technology of thewall concrete, and so on.
