At present, there are many large buildings with Variable Air Volume (VAV) centralair conditioning at home and abroad. Due to characteristics and design factors, airconditioning energy consumption is high, and it brings a tremendous waste. Accordingto the current domestic and international research of central air-conditioning control,this paper introduces a variable flow control measures of variable air volume airconditioning water system to optimize the water system and save energy.In air conditioning water system, variable flow is also aiming to save energy at thegreatest degree by reasonable control strategies, while satisfying the building loadrequirements. In this paper, control method and control strategy of variable air volume(VAV) air conditioning chilling water system is verified by MATLAB. Simulationresults show the feasibility of the proposed control method.Firstly, this paper implements a control method combined with supply airtemperature and the valve opening by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages ofthe water system with variable flow control. Secondly, it identifies and analyzes thespecific parameters using the least squares method with MATLAB on the premise of theexperimental model. Thirdly, it comparatively analyzes common control strategy andcontrol algorithm, chose cascade control to combine the proposed control methods, anddesigns primary and secondary controller. Finally, it simulates the proposed controlmethod with MATLAB software, and a comparison with a single closed loop, PIcascade, and predictive control simulation results is analyzed from different angles.The simulation results shows that the proposed control method and controlalgorithm can optimize variable flow system, and system with the designed controllerhas good quality and effect of control.
