In order to study the movement mechanism of impact rammer further, and carryoptimization design of impact rammer, Soil plastic deformation considered, themechanical model of rammer is perfected. Then based on the dynamics model,dynamics equations are written and analytic expressions are got. Relying on theestablishment of MATLAB program, the numerical solution of the motion parameters ofimpact rammer is obtained. It puts forward to a new optimization design method ofimpact rammer. Finally, according to the theory motion data of tamping plate andexperimental data of experiment, the dynamic model and the optimization designmethod are shown to be correct and feasible.In the use of soil mechanics model, visco-elastic model and visco-plastic modelwhich are very classic are chosen to reflect soil mechanics properties. After analyzingthe structure and the working situation of impact rammer, the main structure parametersare extracted. On the basis of reasonable simplification, the working process of impactrammer is divided into four stages to study, and then the dynamics models of four stagesare respectively set up. Thus the dynamics equations of impact rammer system in allstages are obtained.According to the complex modal decoupling method and modaldecoupling method, the equations analytic expressions of the system are concluded.Using the MATLAB program, the numerical solution of the motion parameters ofimpact rammer is got. On this basis, keep constant input of the soil parameters, andconstantly input different numerical value of structure parameters of rammer machine,then the corresponding different numerical value of soil plastic deformation is obtained.Then according to the best ramming effect, the best structure parameters of impact rammer are found. This is the optimization design method of impact rammer which isproposed.Do the experiment of soil compacted by impact rammer, experimental data and thetheoretical data are compared in this paper, which shows that the mechanical model ofimpact rammer correctly reflects the working process. The method for the optimizationdesign of impact rammer is feasible.
