Study About The Shu Yuan Building Design In Caotang Campus Of Xi’an University Of Architecture And Technology

Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology in recent years’ courses of the school gradually realized that, to set up a comprehensive university, in addition to the modernization of the hardware facilities and rich teaching resources, the most important is to enhance the campus culture.Therefore, in the process of the planning of new campus, the school put forward to the campus construct policy that combining the Chinese traditional education thought and western modern education Principle.Shu Yuan is a special form of education mechanism in Chinese history, which has an extremely important position in traditional higher education. It originated from the late Tang and Five Dynasties, flourished in the song, Ming, Qing Dynasty. As a distinctive Chinese traditional education mode, ShuYuan education have many advantages prepare to other forms of education, including its affinity, cohesion, awareness are all on the unique features of the general Characteristic of ShuYuan.To modern eyes, ShuYuan education is a kind of traditional and modern education mode. ShuYuan spirit is the essence of itself, it not only can guide students to carry on the study of cultural knowledge, more plays the role on training students’ moral quality and the connotation of personality cultivation of influence character. ShuYuan spirit palys a guidance role not only in ancient times, but also has its unique value in modern higher education.This article take the practical project of CaoTang campus in Xi’an University of Architecture And Technology as the prototype, and to explore the solution of carrying out ShuYuan spirit in modern university for the main purpose, combined with the research on space of traditional ShuYuan, discusses and analyzes the ShuYuan system in the concrete embodiment of CaoTang campus design. In this paper the reality prototype is based on integration of theory and practice and research results, discuss the the whole process of the Shu Yuan building in CaoTang campus from idea generation to further design with the stepped progressive design concept.The article based on the responsible attitude to modern university’s develop prospect, put forward to a lot of the feasibility analysis on the development of Shu Yuan building in university, as well as in the solution that traditional spirit of Shu Yuan better into the modern university under a great deal, the purpose is to provide some ideas on the later development of Shu Yuan building in university, with a view to campus culture into a fresh vitality, and continue the tradition of Shu Yuan classical in higher education of universities.
