The Courtyard Space Architectural Design Of Guanzhong Area Resort Hotel

With China’s rapid economic development, people’s income level and life quality are increasing, people pay more attention to the quality of life, not only physical health, but also the pursuit of spiritual enjoyment.On the national holiday of the growth of demand and corresponding with the rapid development of the resort hotel, the social tourism and holiday industry unprecedented development.Holiday Inn Resort architecture courtyard space is an important part of the hotel design, it is a place providing rest, relax, enjoying the outdoor communication and the charming scenery for the users. At the same time, the environment of courtyard space needs to reflect the hotel’s theme, region characteristic and culture attribute, create a full of natural breath and culture environment for the visitors’ holidays. Therefore resort hotel courtyard space is the most important components which can reflect the characteristic of the resort hotel.For the design of the courtyard space, the traditional Chinese courtyard is an important product of our proud history, however, resort hotel design in the Guanzhong area, as can best embody the geographical characteristics of the traditional courtyard space is slowly disappeared; In front of the foreign culture strong challenges, many design not only can not only go into the meaning of the foreign courtyard, but also stay on the surface form of the follow; Guanzhong region with deep historical heritage areas,it has very strong Chinese characteristics, However, in the design of the resort in the Guanzhong area, many of the design can not give us expression of the cultural atmosphere, as well as regional characteristics of the regions.In summary, this paper in order to accurately define the Guanzhong area, resort hotels, courtyard space-based, as the theoretical basis to the existing literature and reference materials, combined with the unique local culture of the Guanzhong region, analysising of the research examples and existing programs, by contrast, with reference to Guanzhong area resort hotel courtyard space design techniques,then proposed some improvements. Although the study is limited to the Resort of the Guanzhong region, but for regional and cultural characteristics are reflected in the courtyard space thinking, design principles and related theories are not limited.I hope the paper have some reference value for the design of courtyard space in Guanzhong area.
