Landscape Design And Analysis Of Chengdu Three Saints Flower Town Rural Tourism

Our country’s urban construction now is at high speed. When the urban landscape industry becomes saturated, more and more landscaping construction opportunities sequentially appeared in the suburban fringe. Consequently, a close examination into development of the rural tourism construction, landscape planning and landscape design are particularly important. At the same time, the study has become an indispensable part of urban and rural sustainable development strategy. Through a comprehensive understanding of the Three Saints Flower Town in Chengdu and the knowledge of landscape in China and the West, the paper further explores the unique flavor and connotation used in the landscape of the Three Saints Flower Town, reflects how it integrates man and nature’s sustainable development into the landscape design and how it makes inhabitants’ deep love of life and tolerance be vividly reflected in the plot of the Flower Town’s landscape.In this paper, the writer give an in-depth analysis of the integrated environment about the Three Saints Flower Town landscape, by revealing problems and proposing corresponding suggestions in the landscape design,with an emphasis on a harmonious co-existence of local city and rural landscape. Precisely, a flexible use of rich landscaping is suggested to be combined with "Urban Resort" landscape in western Sichuan style. Also, the running theme of harmonious living is supposed to be constantly approached and the future trend of the landscape in the suburban fringe be predicted. Furthermore, it is important to foster a new concept based on human-nature interaction and innovate landscape design in local areas. Meanwhile, new ideas and methods should be introduced in rural tourism in terms of its facilities and landscape construction, making the rural landscape system sound and well-functioned.The paper first looks into the origin of rural tourism landscape and its evolution. Furthermore, it analyzes the current situation and landscape elements of local tourism in Chengdu, briefly describing the Three Saints Flower Town’s background, reasons accounting for its development and its present situation. After that, an in-depth analysis of the contact between landscape elements and unique regional culture is given. At last, the paper summarizes the significance and value of rural tourism landscape of the Three Saints Flower Town in Chengdu and proposes a route for future development and strategies which can be held as enlightening references for rural tourism landscape planning and construction.
