Steel plate shear wall as a new lateral-force-resisting system which has beenwidely used at home and abroad. At present a lot of research work is aims at thebuckling performances with level load of steel plate shear wall with and without edgestiffeners, and steel plate shear wall with slits, focus on the overall performance of steelplate shear wall component and research of steel plate shear wall component itself isless.In order to focus on assessing performance of steel plate shear wall componentitself, through the large general purpose finite element software ANSYS to analysis ofsteel plate shear wall component system,the main research contents include:①Use SHELL181shell element, we establish the finite element models of steelplate shear plate wall with and without edge stiffener cross stiffeners.②The buckling analysis on the steel plate steel plate wall, discuss the impact ofdifferent thickness ratio, depth width ratio and stiffener’s flakiness ratio on steel platesteel plate wall. The analysis of the buckling mode of different ways of stiffeners onsteel plate steel plate wall and in the same steel quantity the influence of the stiffeners toit.③In practical engineering, there exists warp out of plate, therefore analysis theinfluence of ultimate bearing capacity of steel plate steel plate wall in different highthickness, different defects amplification factor, as well as the initial defects.④Give a single-track loading to the model, analysis of the impact of differentthickness ratio, depth width ratio and stiffener’s flakiness ratio on steel plate steel platewall. The comparative analysis of the Lateral resistant performance of different ways ofstiffeners on steel plate steel plate wall.⑤A brief introduction of the hysteretic behavior of steel plate steel plate wallslotted at two edges in different thickness ratio.Research indicates that the ratio of height to thickness, aspect ratio and whenrib-thickness ratio of main factors affecting on both sides. Effects of initialimperfections on the performance of smaller, relative to the other form of stiffeningdiagonal stiffening effect is more obvious.Finally, this article summarizes the results of the analysis and to make relevantrecommendations, and pointed out the lack of paper, as well as further improvement in the future.
