| Experimental test is the most effective way to detect mufflers’ actual performance. Dueto the poor capacity of domestic muffler test bench, the real extreme muffer workingstatus(high tempreture and speed) can’t be simulated. Therefore, researches on themuffler test bench involved with extreme status is of great importance.In this paper, based on varied muffler performance tests, a preliminary conceptualprototype of the test bench is completed. Sound source and the corresponding thermalprotective device are developed. In order to accomplish the highly effective control offlow speed, an flow automatic control system is built up.The key technologies of the muffler test bench (under high temperature andhigh-speed experimental) design include:(1) analyze test bench’s specific function;accomplish the total deployment work of the test bench.(2) by means of laudspeaker’slectotype and laudspeaker box’s parameter design, the sound source ia developed whichmeets the requirements of test bench.(3) based on the comparison of cutthrough andcollateral sound sources, the latter is fit for the test bench.(4) investigate the effect ofcollateral source pipe’s different parameters to its acoustic performance.(5) utilize thepolyimide film which can allow strong sound transmission and resist high tempretureand pressure to develop the sound source hermal protective device, which makes thesound source’s smooth running.(6) built up the flow automatic control system.Accomplish lectotype work of blower, frequency converter and flowmeter, realize thecommunication among them based on RS485communication interface. By means ofnewton dichotomy algorithm and VB platform, the flow control software is designed. |
