As the number of private car is so huge, China gives more and more support for vehicle's independent research and development, our country gets more and more achievements in the car of each component research. Especially in the development of the automobile electronic technology which got the major breakthroughs, the domestic auto parts suppliers has started from the zero to today's scale. As an important system which affects the safety of vehicles, the performance of Electronic Parking Brake system directly affects the safety of vehicle and the driver's control experience.Through querying the related information of Electronic Parking Brake(EPB), We found that the study of EPB system test-bed is little. This paper determines related parameters of test bench for the first stage researched EPB system. In order to optimize the performance of Electronic Parking Brake system, test bench is designed which can assist improving and optimizing its functions when doing different experiments on test bench. This paper analyzed the Electronic Parking Braking system of each manufacturer. The structinure of integrated Electronic Parking Braking system is briefly introduced based on above. the work principle, mechanical structure, hardware circuit and software flow are analyzed respectively. Through the understanding of EPB system, the requirements in the design of test-bed are set.Design requirements of test-bench are put forward, according to the requirements. The weight adjusting device is designed based on the weight simulation of test bench, Angle adjusting mechanism is designed based on that the vehicle with EPB system can park on different slope. The whole process of parking on different ramp is simulated on test bench, when vehicles operate they need power supply. Power supply and transmission mechanism are designed according to the actual operation of the vehicle, inverter controlled motor is used as power source, at the same time gearbox is used as transmission mechanism. CAN bus communication is used for data collection and information communication. The brake torque is 2702.41 N.m through real vehicle simulating. Comparing different types of inverters, ACS800-01 is chosed as the inverter, The power is 5 KW. Upper machine interface is set in combined with different function of the control strategy of EPB different characteristics. In LABVIEW software, CAN driver software is built-in, on the foundation of hardware, design the logical order of the test process in PC.Though the changes of the parameters in PC, adjust the test instruction in real-time, the test data is recorded through the PC data acquisition system.Finally, calibration test and parking brake test were done on the bench, through the data acquisition recording system the data was processed and saved. In the parking brake force calibration experiment using the linear regression algorithm of data processing, through the analysis of test results to assess whether the design of bench test bench conform to the requirements, design concept of test bench test and the result of the design.
