With the rapid development of power electronic technology, power electronicequipments have been widely applicated,such as inverter,SMPS,UPS and so on,butthey result in serious contamination of harmonics to the electrical network. Activepower factor correction(APFC) technology is present one of the effective methods tosolve the problem. Output filter is an imporant part of inverter,which affect thequality of output voltage and the power density of inverter directly. Therefore, a highperformance of passive output filter on inverter is of vital importance.In this paper,Boost topology for PFC has been researched and analyzed and akind of5-D data field visual algorithm is used in the multi-object and multi-constraintoptimum design of asymmetric T-type passive output filter of the inverter canavailably improve the power facter of inverter system.In chapter1,firstly I explain the background and the aim of researchtask;secondly, I introduce the development status of PFC and analyze how to causethe low power factor and the harm of low power factor to the electrical network;whatmore,the dovi data field visual algorithm that had been applicated in optimum designof passive filter has been focused on;eventually, I introduced the conventionaltopology and control policy of APFC. In chapter2, I explain how to apply the5-Ddata field visual algorithm to the optimum design of asymmetric T-type passive filterof the inverter in detail and the experimental results and analysis are given. Chapter3focuses on the design process of the EMI filter and main circuit of APFC detailedly.Chapter4mainly introduces how to degin the peripheral circuit of ICE1PCS02andthe control loop of APFC converter. Chapter5,I simulate the whole converter andimplement a500W prototype.According to the result of experiment,the APFC hasexcellent performanced. Chapter6is the conclusion of all research task and the endof this paper.I proposes the further work in chapter6.
