When Mechanical equipment is running, because of the relative motion and mutual contactbetween the surface of the frictional parts, frictional wear was unavoidable happened. Wear failure ofparts is the commonest and most primary failure form. Monitoring wear particle in oil is an importantmeans of monitoring the wear state of mechanical equipment. In view of the lack of research on wearparticle on-line monitoring techniques, based on the ferrography analysis technology, this paperresearches following aspects of full-flow and in-line wear particle monitoring technology:First, developed a full-flow and in-line wear particle monitoring sensor which has comprehensivemonitoring information. based on the ferrography analysis method, according to the principle offerrography analysis, developed a full-flow and in-line wear particle monitoring sensor which is basedon image, and set up an experimental platform, who adapts with the sensor.Second, Studied the deposition distribution law of wear particle in the in-line ferrography, andresearched the distribution of wear particle deposited under different conditions by changing theparameters of the magnetic field and the flow channel. In this process, Based on the magnetic fieldeffects of the wear particle distribution, using the ring magnet as the source of magnetic field, studiedthe magnetic field distribution of the ring magnet in different nested and assembly mode.Finally, Studied the grain size distribution of wear particle in the in-line ferrography. Usingimage processing methods, such as the histogram specification, measured the grain size of wearparticle deposited in different areas. Based on the grain size distribution theory of particle swarm,drew the rectangle distribution chart of grain size of wear particle deposited in different areas.Studied the similarities and differences of grain size distribution between the different depositionareas, and calculate the grain size distribution form of wear particle in the whole deposition area.
