In the domestic automobile production enterprises, artificial detection andartificial measurement methods were used to inspect the quality of auto parts productstill using, these methods were simple, but had low efficiency, were not adaptive formass production mode, also were propitious to the information statistics management.Combined with the needs to the shell detection auto parts manufacturing enterprise indrive to of the shell detection, research on both ends of the bridge housing the coaxialtolerance of bearing hole and end face round laser detection method and beat testingsystem design.On the basis of the laser measurement technology, mini driving axle tolerance re-quirement measurement test was designed, using the non-contact measurement to testboth ends of the coaxial tolerance of error and end face round beating error of the dri-ving axle shell.In this topic, fist of all, according to the driving axle shell structure charateristicsand the actual accuracy requirement,analyzed the measurement characteristics and di-fficulties to both ends of the coaxial tolerance of bearing hole and end face round bea-ting, and put forward the corresponding measurement project.Second, founded amathematic model. At last, the measurement structure and positioning structure weredesigned, measurement mathematical model was built at last, this could realize tomeasure respectively on both ends of the bridge housing the coaxial tolerance ofbearing hole error measuring and bridge housing face round ends the measurement ofbeating error. In the practical detection, ensure measuring work-piece was placed inpositioning structure, with the help of center unit and V style orientation, ensure thatthe flange datum plane of the driving axle housing, was parallel to the leveltable-board of test-bed, under the control of stepping motor, measurement structurecame to the sampling place, and then the coaxial tolerance of error and end face roundbeating error could be obtained. Test bench mainly was composed by the workbench,work piece positioning structure, straight and level steering mechanism, measuringactuators, measurement control system, etc. The system hardware part mainly included: laser displacement sensor, the control system of stepping motor, datacollection system and PCS. The software part just included data acquisition module,and friendly interface, which were written by Lab VIEW programming language, ofcourse, the measured results could be displayed to the users by the means of graphicsand text.
