Solar energy as a renewable green energy, in addition to its huge reserves and withoutpollution, it is used to serve our lives. The most effective and convenient way of using solarenergy is photovoltaic power generation. In consideration of cost and efficiency, it is veryimportant to study maximum power point tracking system.This paper researched the independent photovoltaic power generation system,from theaspects of topological structure, working principle and the maximum power point trackingetc,Conducted in-depth analysis of research. The main work is as follows:First of all, through the understanding of the current situation of domestic and overseas,then lead into the composed of the photovoltaic power generation system and analyze theworking principle of the photovoltaic cells. Simulation model is established. Under differentenvironmental conditions, tested by experiment and the output characteristics are got. Thenonlinear of photovoltaic cells is verified, and parameters change with environment. It alsoshows that it is necessary to study maximum power tracking.Secondly, some of the most common used maximum power point tracking methods areintroduced, such as Constant Voltage Method(CVT)、Incremental Conductance Method、Perturbation and Observation Method. MATLAB Simulation of DC/DC transform circuitand most power tracing algorithm are used. Weighing the advantages and disadvantages ofvarious methods and putting forward the improvement methods, it is Constant VoltageMethod combined with disturbance observation. And its effectiveness is verified bysimulation when environmental parameters change. Improved oscillating and falsephenomenon of disturbance observation, improved the efficiency of the system.At the end of all,by means of combining the software and hardware, The independentsolar power supply system, which is compose of the highest power-tracking module, XPZ、Protection module、human machine interface module and the Charging control module, isdesigned by using C8051F040as the master controller. Among these modules, the highestpower-tracking module is based on real-time acquisition of voltage and current signals to control the duty cycle of the DC/DC converter and adjust the operating point of thephotovoltaic cell. Parameter acquisition module provides a basis for the entire system.Protection module guaranteed the system safe and efficient to run. Human machineinterface module acquisition data is supported for System analysis and research. TheBOOST Circuit charging control module is used to achieve control of the battery.
