The development of social economy brings the blowout trend of fossil energy consumption.The attendant energy crisis and environmental problems are attracting more and more attention.The attendant energy crisis and environmental problems are attracting more and more attention.Because of the wide distribution of solar energy resources and pollution-free characteristics,photovoltaic power generation has a highlighted advantages in the replacing traditional fossil energy,and it has been paid much attention by all countries,becoming a hot research topic in the field of new energy.The characteristics of photovoltaic cells determine that their output power is greatly influenced by environmental factors,and there is great power loss in the process of operation.In order to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation,it is necessary to add the controller which has the function of the maximum power point tracking(Maximum Power Point Tracking,MPPT)in the circuit.And the performance of the controller directly determines the effect of the maximum power tracking.Therefore,the research of the MPPT controller is the core content of the photovoltaic power generation field.This paper first introduces the current situation of photovoltaic power generation industry,summarizes the current research status of the photovoltaic power industry in Europe,the United States and China,then analyze and compares a variety of MPPT technology of photovoltaic power generation systems.The working principle of photovoltaic cells is analyzed,and two mathematical expressions of photovoltaic cells are derived through mathematical deduction.Built the simulation model of photovoltaic cells based on behavior model,and analyze the influence of different external environment factors on the output characteristics of photovoltaic cells on the Simulink platform.Then introduced the part of the simulation model of photovoltaic power generation system and three kinds of MPPT technology.The advantages and disadvantages of different methods are analyzed.The simulation model is built on the Simulink platform which adopt Boost conversion circuit,and obtain the output characteristic curves of the photovoltaic cells using three kinds of MPPT Technology.Analyze the influence of environmental factors on output characteristics of photovoltaic power generation system.At last,an improved incremental conductance method is proposed.Through the enlightenment of the maths function,the increment of the step length in the incremental conductance method is improved,and the inherent contradiction between thetracking speed and the tracking precision in the conductance increment method is solved.The simulation data show that the improved conductance increment method has the advantages of fast tracking speed and high steady-state accuracy,which verifies the effectiveness of the method.
