The Investigation To Behavior Of Double-storeyed Diagonal Stiffened Steel Plate Shear Wall With Two-side Openings

The hysteresis curve of unstiffened steel plate shear walls exists pinchphenomenon, while the larger additional internal force generated by the tension field oninfill plate of four-side connection steel plate shear walls leads to the failure of framecolumn too early, and then the whole structure. Aiming at these problems, thedouble-storeyed diagonal stiffened steel plate shear wall with two-side openings is putforward.A single-span double-storeyed diagonal stiffened steel plate shear wall withtwo-side openings is studied via ANSYS.Based on some steel plate shear wall test, a shell element model is built to simulatethe test one. The hysteresis curve and the skeleton curve of finite element model arecompared with the test model’s. As a result, the finite model is verified effectively,which lay the foundations for the following analysis.A comparative analysis is carried out which includes the single-push curve, initialstiffness, load-bearing capacity, stress contour, outside plane deformation contour, andinternal force of beam&column of both HX-model and BX-model. And the failuremode, the internal force distribution and change law of beam&column, the ratio ofinfill-plane shear force are obtained.The effect of connection form of diagonal stiffener, stiffness ratio of stiffener topanel, opening rate on HX-model has been studied. And the effect law of variousfactors is obtained, then the reasonable range of various factors is given.Analysis the mechanical behavior of MHX-model and MHP-model under cyclicloading, and compare the hysteresis curve, the skeleton curve, the equivalent viscousdamping coefficients, stress and displacement of two models. Finally, the ratio ofenergy dissipation of infill-plane to the structural total ones is given out.
