The semi-rigid pavement composite material based on asphalt mixtureis a new kind of pavement material, which is form by filling rubberizedmortar into special-graded and big-interspaced asphalt mixture.It usedfor making semi-rigid pavement composite material of dense-skeletonstructure. This kind of composite material combines the flexibility ofasphalt concrete pavement and rigidity of cement concrete pavement andmake the flexible pavement with rigidity, it can improve the pavementperformance of the road very well. At present, china’s semi-rigid pavementcomposite material is still in its infancy, so this expanded research anddevelopment have good practical significance and prospects fordevelopment.First of all, the paper in reference to the domestic and internationalresearch on the basis of the results of the test has began experimentresearches for the design of rubber powder cement mortar mix proportion.And it has proposed for mix proportion of rubber powder cement mortarfilling into the asphalt mixture material. Secondly, according to thevolume design method of mixture ratio, it has confirmed the gradation andthe best content of asphalt mixture of recommended large-gap asphaltmixture. Finally, it is again to composite material for temperaturestability test, including the high temperature stability and the lowtemperature crack resistance energy research of the composite material.Through the Marshall stability and rutting test, in theory, under theguidance of the analysis, this new composite material compared with othertypes of asphalt mixture has a good high temperature stability, with thefilling of rubber powder cement mortar, it makes the material more rigidand greatly improve the resistance to permanent deformation of thecomposite material in high temperature. And because of the rubber powderwith, in the adjacent place between the interface of asphalt and cementmortar, rubber can rise to stress the role of buffer and restrain the two interface due to external force or the change of the temperaturedeformation caused by the separation. Then, it is again to the compositematerial for low temperature splitting test and low temperaturebending test. The results of the study show that, the low temperature crackperformance of the composite material compared to OGFC-13and AC-13hassignificantly improved. And the rubber powder can be effective controlof the shrinkage deformation temperature of the composite material andthe critical strain energy density of composite material is more thanother materials, so the composite material has superior low temperaturecrack resistance.I hope this paper can use for providing scientific theory bypromoting、studying and applying of the semi-rigid pavement compositematerial based on asphalt mixture in the future.
