With the rapid development of Chinese economic construction, most of the industrial sites and industrial waste lands which were left in cities under the continuous adjustment of industrial structure have been pushed down by pushdozer with nothing left, which has brought suspense to the city history with ignorance of the continuity and sustainable development of the city, and wasted a lot of the usable resources. This trend has caused the ongoing extinction of“Industrial Cultural Landscape”of industrial cities. What we call“Industrial Cultural Landscape”should be protected, exploited and utilized as a kind of urban culture. Therefore, it has become a key issue of the industrial city modification to inherit and protect the cultural landscape of industrial cities so as to realize the scientific replacement and permanent utilization of the cultural landscape heritages of industrial cities. With an example of the urban cultural landscape of Shenyang Tiexi industrial area, the paper probes into the ways to inherit the industrial city cultural landscape at the angle of continuation of urban culture.
