Restructuring Spirit Of Space Of The Post-industial Cultural Landscape In Noretheast Cities

The adjustment of old industrial basic land and the state's principles andpolicies of the northeastern cities have brought opportunities to improve theenvironment of the major cities of the northeast industrial cities. However, manyindustrial sites of historical significance in the structure has been destroyed by thetransformation process of the landscape remains in the industrial."Lost of s pirit ofplace"has emerged ,and the north-east city's cultural landscape lost their sense ofidentity. Therefore, improving the structure of northeast urban industrial landscape,continuating of the spirit of its industrial sites, restoring sense of their premises andconsecuting the northeast historical context , becomes a serious problem.Northeast urban industrial sites have distinct regional characteristics, richhistorical context ,furthermore,in the industrial processes, there are many collectivememory to maintain worthwhilely. These are coincide the definition of NorbergSchulz's spirit of place. Therefore, analyzing the character of post-industriallandscape in the northeastern city , and continuing this non-renewable spirit ofplace, is the focus of this study.This thesis is overally divided into three levels, in accordance with theresearch process of posing problem, analyzing problems, solving problem and thelogical relations to discuss. Through a review of industrial history development inthe northeastern cities recent years and problems of missing the spirit of placeappeared in the post-industrial transformation, objectively analyzes elements whichconstitute the post-industrial cultural landscape of the northeastern. From thematerial elements : space factors, Spatial structure of places to the hidden featuresand an atmosphere of a place, to explore the spirit of the place of northeast urbanindustrial landscape. Concludes with reconstruction of post-industrial culturallandscape of the northeastern city of Spirit of Place strategy: Re-establishing theplace elements, Integrating the space of places, Strengthening the place features,Significancing the expression of place.The spirit of place research of post-industrial cultural landscape of thenortheastern cities, is Striving to achieve a complete excavation sites in Northeasturban-industrial landscape of the spirit of place, protecting its urban context,industrial civilization and landscape value.
