Conservation of energy and protection of enviroment have become one of the mostimportant issues in the strategic for sustainable development. Screw-type heat pumpunits with high energy efficiency, safety and reliability, is a very promisingenergy-saving, environment-friendly products. Screw-type heat pump units can save alot of fossil fuels consumption, reducing environmental pollution. As the core ofscrew-type heat pump units, the performance of the controller will directly affect theoverall performance of the unit, so it plays an important role in the promotion andmarket-oriented operation. The main topic of this thesis is to develop a controller of screw-type heat pumpunits based on S3C2410A microprocessor and embedded Windows CE operatingsystem. The overall design of the controller is given on the basis of the workingprinciple and the requirements of screw-type heat pump units. Controller is composedof data acquisition and control unit based on STM32F103VC MCU and thehuman-machine interactive unit based on S3C2410A microprocessor. The hardware and software design of acquisition and control unit based onSTM32F103VC MCU is introduced in detail. The hardware system of the devicecomprises many modules such as the multi-channel temperature data acquisition, themulti-channel pressure data acquisition, the photoelectric isolation input and outputmodule of digital signal, communication, etc. And their working principle are alsoanalyzed. The modular programming method is adopted, and analyzes the processstructure of the critial subroutine. The hardware platform has been built for the human-machine interactive unit. Thecomposition of BSP of Windows CE and the design of BootLoader and OAL areanalyzed. The method of customize and transplant Windows CE operating system toS3C2410A microprocessor is also given. Under the integrated developmentenvironment of EVC, the design and function of various human–machine interfaces areelaborated. The method that realizes the modules, which includes animation of theworking principle, serial port communications and the database, is descripted in detail. The test of every module of the controller, performance test of the controller andelectromagnetic compatibility test were accomplished. The result indicates that thiscontroller of screw-type heat pump units has a friendly human-machine interface, real-time data display and processing, complete fault protection features to ensure thatthe screw-type heat pump units safe and efficient operation and the overall performancemeets the requirements of design.
