Gears is one major source of vibration and noise of wind turbine, with the increasing of stand-alone power of wind turbines and the harsh operating environment which likes the upper bracelet and variable loading conditions which the gearbox in, these put forward higher requirements of the gear system design, manufacture, installation, etc. Whether the gearbox is working properly, it will directly affect the normal operation of the wind turbine, the research of dynamic performance has become a hot topic of concern at home and abroad. The vibration and noise of home-made wind power gearbox is more serious than the foreign products, so the research of vibration and noise of gear system has become an important issue to be solved in the domestic wind power equipment.This article relies on a machinery company project“the technology service research of 1.5 MW wind turbine drive organization”in Hunan, the 1.5MW wind power pitch driven planetary reducer has been the research object, the study is around the mechanism of vibration and noise of the reducer. Its mainly start point is to reduce vibration, noise and improve the dynamic performance, the key consideration is the dynamic incentive of planetary gear on the gearbox in the rating condition of the pitch reducer, the dynamic analysis, modal and acoustic analysis on reducer, and to guide the control of reducer gearbox noise according to these measurements. The main work of this paper is as follows:The transmission mechanism of pitch reducer has been analyzed and the vibration and noise generation mechanism of pitch gear has also been analyzed in combination of gear system dynamics theories, so the specific research ideas on the control of vibration and noise of pitch reducer will be determined based on above.The virtual prototype model of the pitch reducer has been established, the main incentive and the modal shape of the pitch reducer box have been analyzed in the rated conditions。The vibration response of the pitch reducer in the rated conditions has been studied based on the results of the dynamic simulation and analysis.The noise prediction for the pitch reducer box through technology of the boundary element and MATV and the modal order which makes the larger contribution to the field point pressure has been obtained. Based on above, the noise control programs of the pitch reducer have been developed and the related programs have been simulated to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the methodology, and further obtained the conclusion that it is very convenient to research the model which modal frequencies are sparse for the modal analysis method of acoustic contribution.
