Energy shortage is a very serious problem in the world. Energy conservation and environment protection are the two issues that are concerned by the international community at present. Lithium bromide absorption system is not only can use solar, industrial waste heat and other low grade energy, but it’s also friendly to the environment. In this paper, in order to improve the utilization of energy, bubble pump is used to replace the traditional mechanical solution pump, and a lot of experimental researches about bubble pump are conducted. The main work can be described as follow:(1) Based on the theoretical knowledge of double-stage bubble pump, test platform is designed and built.(2) The effects of heat input, flow rate of the cooling water and driving head on performance of bubble pump are investigated experimentally.(3) Study on the different performance of bubble pump is conducted when using water and different concentrations of lithium bromide solution. The start-up time, pressure difference of the two gas-liquid separators, cyclist and stability of double-stage bubble pump are studied with the variation of heat inputs, driving heads and concentrations of LiBr solution.
