To promote public transport priority, improve public transport efficiency andservice level, and encourage people to take public transport travel, thereby inhibitingthe excessive growth of car ownership, is to solve city traffic problem effectively. Thepaper researches bus priority in the light of city road intersection, to apply thetechnology of bus priority control which based on rule and optimization, by whichcombinate the singal parameter of multi-optimization method and adopt real timecontrol on the crossing traffic flow. The main contents of this paper include fouraspects:First, summarizes some methods of bus priority, priority phase optimizationmethod and bus priority signal timing optimization method.Second, Design of a rule based and optimization based multi objective adaptivebus priority control process.By using the sixteen phase project phase optimization, phase scheme is selected according to the prediction of time step in the flow todetermine the total weighted number.Phase sequence is maked by the total number ofphase and phase for vehicle queue length.Third, establish a multi-objective optimal model with the person the total delayof integrated benefit, parking rate and the capacity of the intersection. And themulti-objective genetic algorithm based on Pareto dominance relationships, to findthe optimal solution frontier. Finally, make some simulation testing for the target results by using VISSIMsoftware. Compared with the average people delay, the average vehicle delay, bustraffic efficiency. The results show that the target adaptive bus priority controlachieved good results.Multi-Objective Optimal Signal-Planning Method considering the intersectiontransit vehicles and vehicles for social benefi. Not only can improve bus operationefficiency, and no other vehicle has a greater negative impact, which has certainpractical significance.
