Substation device intelligence is an important base of realizing smart grid. Withperfection of the IEC61850 standard, more requirements are put forward on precisionand stability of synchronous clock. As a network time synchronization system,IEEE1588 synchronous clock has many advantages. However, clock based on TCP/IPTechnology and substation communication network can be effected by transmissioncongestion of communication network, so synchronous message transmission pathdelay error exists. For internal error and path delay error existed, time stability ofIEEE1588 synchronous clock will be effected. For this purpose, IEEE1588 clocksynchronization error is studied in the thesis. Error correction method of synchronousclock is proposed. IEEE1588 time synchronization network model of smart substationis built to realize Nanosecond network time synchronization.First, the timing principle of IEEE1588 synchronous clock is studied. Combiningwith communication network characteristic of smart substation, IEEE1588synchronous clock error is studied. On this basis, correction method of synchronousmessage transmission path delay error correction method based on differentiatedservice scheduling model is proposed. Bandwidth adjustment factor and urgencymechanism are built by setting priority of network node business message queue. Tomeet the reliability requirement of smart substation, synchronous messagetransmission method based on RBGM mechanism is proposed. High-precisionnetwork clock hardware platform is built and tested. Then delay of synchronousmessage is determined. The internal error of clock is analyzed and corrected. Onlinemonitoring and correcting method of IEEE1588 clock oscillator is proposed. DP83640based high-precision time stamp marking scheme is studied. On basis of correctingsynchronous clock error, IEEE1588 based clock synchronization network of smartsubstation is built and its redundancy scheme is designed.Theoretical analysis and experimental results show, this clock realizesnanosecond network time synchronization. Clock synchronization network meet thedemand for self-healing of smart substation and promote operation level of smart grid.This research will lay theoretical and technical basis for it.
