| Art has influenced Landscape Design by many mediums such as paintings, poetries and sculptures for a long time. Nowadays, Installation Art has blurred the boundaries between Landscape and Art through its essential elements-location, emotion and material. Some artists have begun to create artworks outdoor, while some architects and landscape designers have started to participate in Installation Art. In order to understand the effectiveness and design methods that landscape designer can learn from Installation Art, this paper firstly studies the relationship between Installation Art and Landscape Design by analyzing the history of Installation Art and the history of applying Installation Art in Landscape. Then, through the way of analyzing the situation, methods and effection of applying Installation Art in Landscape, this paper finally sums up when and where to apply Installation Art, how to apply Installation Art’s special means in design aspects such as shaping the space, visual expression and various materials, as well as what will be achieved after the impressive applications. |
