Under various loads combination and the external environment, structural resistance can occur attenuation, even destruction can happen causing Significant casualties and property loss. Therefore more and more attention has been paid on safety monitoring of building in recent years. At the past, traditional monitoring equipment is expensive, and poor combination with concrete, also durability is not good and shortcomings are so many. Faced with this situation, there is an urgent need for a new monitoring instrument to replace the traditional monitoring instruments, and carbon fiber reinforced concrete(CFRC) is in this context. After joining in appropriate amount of carbon fiber in the concrete, not only conventional mechanical properties of concrete is improved, but also has good electrical conductivity and pressure sensitivity. Because of this nature, the CFRC can be used to monitor the security situation of structure. CFRC sensor has many advantages:combined good with concrete, cheap, and good durability.This paper’s researching method is experiment.The main contents of this thesis: Completed150CFRC block’s experimental study, also studied the effects of measurement voltage, electrode area, measuring method, electrode material, carbon fiber dosage, age and other factors on resistivity; studied the force-electricity properties and its influence factors. Completed6compression components and8flexural components’s total process experiment under load and cyclic loading experiment. Studied the quantitative relation of relative resistivity and loads, displacement, strain.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Resistivity are influced by measuring voltage, electrode materials, measuring method, polarization effect, age, carbon fiber contents and so on.(2) When carbon fiber is0.5%, pressure sensitivity can reach the best.(3) When CFRC was embedded in simply supported beam, it can monitor the structural safety conditions.The relative resistance and load, strain, displacement of mid-span cross have good corresponding relationship.With the bottom smart block thickness increasing, the accuracy of the measurement results is more higher.Under the action of a small load cycle, the relative resistance can be restored to the initial state. But in the cycle under the action of the heavy load, the relative resistance can not be restored to the initial state.(4) When CFRC was embedded in short columns, the relative resistance and load, strain, displacement of mid-span cross have good corresponding relationship. According to the results, the curve are given.
