The permenant megnetic meterial of Nd-Fe-B has excellent hard magnetic and widespread industrial application. In emerging materials market, people research on Nd-Fe-B materials has increased annually, its performance also has much better than before, but the high cost of raw materials as the biggest obstacle to the application promotion. In this paper, it takes the materials without heavy rare earth but only contain low neodymium as the research object, and try to use the Pr Neodymium alloy (Pr account for20%of the mass fraction, and Neodymium account for the rest perscent) replacing the pure neodymium in the original alloy to reduce the production cost of hard magnetic materials. And also try to use a small amount of Cu element to substitute the corresponding Fe element to optimiz the vacuum annealing process, then to improve the magnetic properties of alloy by this way. To be more close to the actual production results, the raw materials in the test are industrial purity. The main work caaried on around this goal is following as below:(1) Four components of amorphous strip including (Ndo.8Pro.2)8.5Fe84.5Nb0.5Zr0.5B6,(Ndo.8Pr0.2)8.5Fe84Nbo.5Zro.5Cuo.5B6,Nd8.5Fe84.5Nbo.5Zro.5B6and Nd8.5Fe84Nbo.5-Zro.5B6Cuo.5were made by the quick melt quenching method. And get the analysis of their structures through XRD detection, analysis of their thermal properties by DSC detection, analysis of its magnetic properties by VSM detection.(2) VSM detection results shows:the sample of alloy composition Nd8.5Fe84Nbo.5Zro.5Cuo.5B6has the best hard magnetic properties which was at720℃for20min and then get vacuum annealing treatment, HCi=249kA/m, Br=0.9279T,(BH)m=70.37kJ/m3. And the sample of alloy composition (Ndo.8Pr0.2)8.5Feg4Nb0.5-Zro.5Cuo.5B6also has good magnetic properties which was at720℃for30min and get vacuum annealed, Hci=406kA/m, Br=0.7949T,(BH)m=64.8kJ/m3.(3) The magnetic powder after vacuum annealing was made into adhesive permenent magnets, which is with9.88mm bottom diameter and10mm height. The mass ratio of binder and auxiliaries were2%and1.4%seperately, magnetic powder and binder were mixed by wet mixing method, and moulding pressure is1000Mpa, keep the pressure for10minutes in different stages, curing temperature and time are 150℃,180minutes respectively. Through the test, The magnetic properties of bonded magnet of (Nd0.8Pr0.2)8.5Feg4Nb0.5Zr0.5Cu0.5B6can achieve:Br=0.618T, Hcb=271kA/m,Hcj=409.6kA/m,,(BH)m=47.3kJ/m3.Experiments show that, after replacing0.5%of Cu element (atomic ratio) of corresponding Fe element, the magnetic property of alloy Fe-Re-M(Nb,Cu,Zr)-B is greatly optimized; and permanent magnetic materials which contain (Nd0.8Pr0.2)8.5-Fe84Nb0.5Zr0.5Cu0.5B6and Nd8.5Fe84Nb0.5Zr0.5Cu0.5B6has very strong practical value.
