The rapid economic development in Hainan province has put forward higher requirements for the fluency and safety of road transport. Highway slope instability is the vital hidden danger that affects the normal operation of the road, so it is necessary to study slope stability. Many factors influencing slope stability, rainfall was one of the key factors. Hainan is a rainy province, especially in the mountainous area where the highway slope has instability features. Therefore, it is necessary to study slope stability, which can provide the basis for highway slope design, maintenance, and improving road resistance to natural disasters in the future in Hainan mountainous areas.In this paper, the impact of rainfall and Hainan special economic plants arecas on mountain road slope stability was analyzed, using the large universal finite element software ABAQUS as the analysis tool, based on strength subtraction theory which calculates the safety factor, combined with the principle of slope stability analysis, considering the impact of rainwater seepage. The main research contents and results are as follows:Based on the theory of finite element strength reduction method, analysis of the influence of the mountainous area highway slope stability of Hainan factors, The results of the study show that stability of slope safety coefficient were elastic modulus and poisson ratio less effect.In October2010Hainan mountainous highway landslide disaster happened six places for engineering background research. According to the regional characteristics of soil, took place of landslide disaster soil samples do interior triaxial test, investigate the moisture content in different circumstances, the soil shear strength parameters change related. In addition to establish the finite element software ABAQUS analysis model, based on the experimental results for the parameters, calculation of safety factor of slope stability analysis of rainfall, gets the safety stability coefficient with rainfall duration changes in relationships, for the future design of slope stability and disaster warning to provide data reference.Hainan special economic crops in betelnut trees on the slope stability influence differently, this paper by using the finite element software modeling analysis for planting betelnut trees slope safety coefficient of research. The result indicated that the root in the soil of betelnut trees distribution is shallower, of soil consolidation effect is not apparent, can improve the stability of the slope, but will make landslide slope instability. So after planting betelnut trees, safety coefficient reducing, slope Angle more than15°in the slope is not conducive to growing betelnut trees.
