Urban public transportation in the urban traffic system is an important part of the link contacting social production, circulation and people’s life. Our country is in the urbanization, the high speed development of motorization stage, urban public transportation development affects the sustainable development of the city process. This paper attempts to use the organization theory to study urban public transportation structure evolution, in its own development basis to explore system internal and external factors affecting the evolution of the change of the impact, reveals the internal mechanism of transportation structure evolution, master its development change rule, for urban public transportation structure evolution of provide theoretical support. This paper studies the following points.First, the paper detailed introduction of self-organization theory used in urban public transportation structure evolution research.
