Composite box girder with corrugated steel webs is a new kind of slight structure with broad development prospects. In this kind of structure concrete slab is replaced by corrugated steel webs, and then the top and bottom concrete slabs bear almost all the moment, and the webs bear the most of the shear force. In this paper we know the real bridges-development of composite box girder with corrugated steel webs at home and abroad by searching an amount of references, and then do the analysis on its shear lag effect. In this paper a span of5m,calculated span of4.8m simple supported model beam is used, and theoretical analysis and finite element analysis are applied, the work that carried out are as follows:(1) First theoretical analysis is applied for beam model by energy variational method, and shear lag coefficient formula is concluded. Second finite element analysis is done, analyzing factors like width span ratio, suspended wing ratio, inclined angle of web and structure system, and a conclusion is come that how they influence the shear lag effect.(2) Then we induce main influencing factors for the shear lag effect, getting conclusion of the effective width coefficient for the composite box girder with corrugated steel webs for reference, and then compare the conclusion with the coefficient of box beam as specified in the specification, getting the law of influence.
