Traffic for the city like blood for the human body. As the blood of unobstructed cause people to get sick, If the city traffic network not smooth, the city can’t healthy development. In many ways of traffic, urban rail transit is very suitable for China who has a large number of population.In the subway vehicle, not only has the traction converters who powered the traction motor, there is the auxiliary power system who powered many kinds of electrical loads. Auxiliary power supply system is an important part of metro vehicle. And it includes the AC power system and DC power system. Auxiliary power supply system transform DC power from gird into many forms of energy. And it provide energy for air conditioning, heating, lighting, air conditioning compressor, electric control, monitoring system, signal system, communication equipment. Its performance is not only affects the passenger comforts, more affecting the whole vehicle system stability and reliability.This paper first introduces the whole auxiliary power system concept, system structure, and the design requirements, etc. Given the whole information of metro vehicles, including the power supply system, load form and organization form etc. And then introduces the DC power system of the related equipment, and gives the capacity calculation method, describes the relevant control method. And introduces the ac power equipment of the related equipment, given the capacity calculation method, this paper introduces the control method is new TDSVPWM. Then introduces three kinds of power supply modes including power supply, expand the power supply and cross parallel power supply. Detailed introduces the principle of parallel power supply and control methods. Finally in Guangzhou metro line1vehicle as an example, given the waveform and analysis of auxiliary power system under various operating conditions. This paper illustrates the rail traffic, auxiliary power system and the characteristics of the related equipment performance requirements. Played a very good guidance function for power supply system design of the related equipment.
