With the increase of the proportion of the liquid propellant in the fluid-filled spacecraft, and the improvement of the accuracy requirements of the operation of the spacecraft, the scholars of various countries pay more attentions to the liquid sloshing problem during the liquid-filled spacecraft operation. On the basis of the analysis of the literature, this paper use three-dimensional numerical simulation method, analysis the mechanical properties and modal of the liquid in the rigid connection tank and flexible connection tank under the zero or low gravity condition.First, establish the tank model with Pro/E, and it is be meshed with ICEM, the VOF method was used as the gas-liquid two-phase flow model. Before a formal calculation of the research, simulate the sloshing characteristics of one Twentieth tank with longitudinal excitation. The result coincides with the numerical simulation results and experimental results conducted by foreign scholars, and it is verify the accuracy of the numerical simulation method in this article.On the basis of the verification of model and numerical simulation, conduct depth analysis of the liquid sloshing characteristics, surface distribution, mechanical properties and modal of different filled ratio, Bond, rate of change of the mass and contact angle with longitudinal excitation under zero gravity condition. The analysis showed contact angle has the greatest impaction on liquid sloshing characteristics.Currently, most of the study of liquid sloshing in the liquid sloshing, did not take the impact of movement on the liquid sloshing characteristics into account. This paper establish the flexible connection tank model by load user-defined function in Fluent, considering the inhibition of the movement of liquid sloshing in the flexible connection tank, and analysis the characteristics, Mechanical properties and modal of liquid sloshing in flexible connection tank with the longitudinal excitation. The results show that the tank of the flexible connection can more effective inhibits the liquid sloshing, and reduce the force of the liquid on the tank.Last, the paper analyses the liquid sloshing in the tank with lateral thrust, simulate the liquid sloshing in the flexible connection tank and rigid connection tank with lateral constant thrust and lateral sinusoidal excitation. It turns out that with lateral thrust, liquid sloshing in different directions has different forms. Liquid sloshing shows two frequencies with lateral sinusoidal excitation. The flexible tank can inhibit the liquid sloshing with lateral excitation, reducing the force of the liquid on the tank.
