In recent years, our national economy has developed rapidly, and automobile transportation industry occupies a very important position in the national economy and transportation structure. Tank truck is widely used in the automobile transportation industry, and makes a great contribution to the development of social economy.Fluid-structure interaction phenomenon is widespread in nature, the liquid sloshing in the tank is a very typical gas-liquid two-phase fluid-structure interaction phenomenon when the truck works. The liquid sloshing in the tank not only changing the position of the gravity center and reducing the driving stability of the tank truck, but also damaging the tank structure. So we should carry out the necessary analysis of fluid-structure interaction to verify whether the tanker meets the requirements.By using the finite element analysis software ANSYS, the liquid sloshing when Semi-Trailer tank truck brakes and the structure stress of tank wall were analysed based on the principle of gas liquid two phase fluid-structure interaction. The structure stress,strain and distribution of the tank were calculated under the influence of liquid sloshing in the tank in order to provide theoretical basis for the structural design and optimization of the tank.Firstly, this paper reviewed the developing history of tank truck and the research progress of liquid sloshing, summarized the experience and achievements, and established the research content, the research mentality and the technical route. Then,the paper mainly elaborated the theoretical that was applied in this paper, including the structure of tank and fluid-structure interaction theory. In the end, the three-dimension entity model was established according to the engineering drawings, and imported into the finite element software ANSYS Workbench for the finite element pre-processing operation.The paper adopted the way of unidirectional fluid-structure interaction analysis to calculate the structure stress and strain of the tank, and studied the effect of the liquid sloshing on tank structure to optimize the tank structure. This paper proposes a tankstructure with closed washboard, this structure is divided into many cans of tank with internal plate. Tanks placed in the front of the tank are full filled with liquid, with an overflow tank only containing part liquid, which can reduce the liquid sloshing to the great extent.
