Based on the requirements that the people put forward to the diversification of building function,part-frame-supported shear wall structure are widely used nowadays. In this structure system, the loads on frame-supported column are very complex.Since the SRC column is better than RC column both in ductility and capacity,it is considered to use SRC columns in part-frame-supported structure as frame-supporting columns. At present, the theoretical research of the this field is not in-depth.This thesis analysed two frame-supported shear wall structures using SRC column and that using RC column on the total model and component model. What’s more,it also discussed the parameters that influence the mechanical behavior of SRC column. The main aspects of content are listed as follows:1.This thesis analysed two part-frame-supported shear wall structures, one using SRC column and another using RC column, on the total model by MIDAS/GEN,a software that focuses on finite element analysis. The main conclusions:Using SRC column can reduce the Axial-load ratio and improve the ductility of column effectively; It can avoid the phenomenon of overreinforced in the RC columns and reduce the sectional dimension of the element; It can help increase the stiffness of the structure to a certain extent.2. This thesis analysed two frame-supported full cross no punching s hear wall structures, one using SRC column and another using RC column, under vertical load by ANSYS,a universal finite element analysis software. The main conclusions:Using SRC columns can enhance its constraint abilit y to frame-supporting beam and reduce the vertical displacement of the w hole structure especially the frame-supporting beam under vertical load, whi le the middle bottom of the beam makes the most obvious performance;U sing SRC columns can reduce the depth of neutral axis in frame-supportin g beam and improve its crack resistance.3. This thesis analysed two frame-supported full cross no punching s hear wall structures, one using SRC column and another using RC column, under both vertical and horizon load by ANSYS, a universal finite eleme nt analysis software. The main conclusions:Under both the vertical and hori zon load, the maximum horizontal stress appears in the intersecting part be tween the frame-supporting beam and shear wall, the maximum vertical str ess appears in the bottom of the column that away from the horizontal fo rce,the maximum shear stess appears in the inside of beam-column joints; The maxium horizontal stress of the SRC column appears about in the po sition of under the tops of the column1/3height of it and the maxium s tress of the steel also lies this position in the web of it;The maxium verti cal stress of the SRC column appears in the bottom of the column that a way from the horizontal force and the maxium stress of the steel also lie s this position;Using SRC columns can make the force-displacement curve of the structure appear a considerable platform. It shows that the structure using SRC column have a better ductility than that using RC column4. The thesis analysed the influence of three parameters to the performance of SRC columns by ANSYS, a universal finite element analysis software. The main conclusions:The ductility of SRC columns will increase significantly with the enlargement of steel contains and the ratio of stirrup, also with the decrease of longitudinal steel bar. Whereas, the steel contains in the element are not the more the better.
