With the rapid development of world economy, energy crisis and the growing fossil energy environmental pollution problems have increased day after day, the depletion of traditional energy and environmental deterioration has accelerated the human to quest of new energy. Wind energy as a clean, non-polluting, and renewable energy sources by the widespread concern of the countries in the world, wind power generation has become one of the main form of the world’s new energy.Study of wind generation technology, Site to experiments is the best way. And a large number of actual wind farm trials will be affected by the limitations of natural conditions, and difficult to achieve the specific test requirements. In order to inprove the capacity of wind power technology research and development, it is necessary to develop a laboratory simulation of the characteristics of wind turbine technology to simplify the experimental process for wind power generation system, shorten the cycle of wind power technology. Wind turbine simulator system can simulate the characteristics of wind turbine does not depend on the environment and the wind turbine case, feel free to set different wind model, using the same system, to simulate different characteristics of the wind turbine, easy to study the related technologies of wind power generation system in laboratory.This paper study the wind turbine simulation system amply based on the DC motor and induction motor, and establish a specific mathematical model. Through the constant and changes wind speed of the two cases, and put forword the shear of the wind turbine, tower shadow effect of the wind turbine dynamic simulation program, so that the output characteristics of the wind turbine simulation system and the actual wind turbine characteristics closer together. The detailed contents as follows:(1) This paper describes the wind power generation technologies,and study the development of wind power in and out abroad generally, compares several kinds of wind power generation systems, and mainly does researches on simulating wind turbines based on the simulation of wind turbine technology.(2) Research the basic wind, gradient wind, gusts and random wind mathematical model, and study of wind energy conversion principle, establish of a wind turbine’s aerodynamic model in simulink simulation of wind energy utilization coefficient and tip speed ratio, the curve of the blade pitch angle. In order to make wind turbines maximize absorption of wind energy at runtime, use the tip speed ratio control method to capture maximum wind energy.Classify the simulation of wind turbine.(3) Establish of the DC motor model and compared with the wind turbine characteristic curve obtained similar to the torque (or power) characteristics and wind machines, so the selection of the DC motor simulation of wind turbine. From static and dynamic aspects, and study the impact of including wind speed shear and tower shadow effect, and establish the equivalent wind speed model and equivalent torque model. Combination of gradient descent adaptive PI control technology, making the dynamic response characteristics of the wind turbine simulation system and the actual wind turbine closer to a true reflection of the dynamic characteristics of the actual wind turbine. Through the simulation analysis, the results shows that wind turbine simulation system based on DC motor can simulate the actual wind turbine output characteristics well.(4) Study the frequency control of induction motor principles, and on this basis to establish a three-phase stationary coordinate induction motor mathematical model, derived a mathematical model of the induction motor in the two-phase rotating coordinate the coordinate transformation. By comparison the similarity of the induction motor characteristics and wind turbine output characteristics can be drawn from the use of vector control induction motor is equivalent to a DC motor to achieve asynchronous motor simulate wind turbine.(5) Induction motor as the prime mover to establish a wind turbine simulation systems, simulation and analysis in the case of constant wind speed, variable wind speed and wind speed shear and tower shadow effects caused by torque ripple. Simulation results show that, given wind speed, variable wind speed asynchronous motor can be well simulated output characteristics of the wind turbine, and enter a new steady state faster, good control effect. In the mutation of the wind speed, response speed, asynchronous motor simulate the characteristics of wind turbine to be able to quickly track changes in wind speed to meet the requirements of wind turbine characteristics. But by shear, tower shadow effect, the pulse output torque of the wind turbine simulation system. The blade pitch angle changes have a greater impact on the cp value of the coefficient of wind energy and wind turbine output torque.
