With the growing demands of energy and the requirements of environmentalprotection.The new energy resources receive more and more attention.Wind power asan important part of the existing new energy resources,the construction cycle is short,scalable capacity, easy operation and maintenance, high reliability and low cost.Thewind power has good economic and social benefits.Wind power generation is acomplex energy conversion systems, it is difficult to solve related problems, thesystem need to be studied. The characteristics of the system can affect the operationalstability and grid power quality. Due to the complexity of wind power, a simplecomputer simulation is not sufficient to prove the reliability of the system hardwareand software, and that requires the establishment of the wind turbine simulator systemunder laboratory conditions. This article researched the wind power system base onthe doubly fed wind power generation system and built the laboratory simulator of thewind turbine.For the lack of existing wind power system model, this paper used the concept ofequivalent wind speed to built wind speed equivalent model in the wind power whichcontains the characteristics of wind farms and characteristics of the aerodynamicshape of wind turbine. This paper selected wind shear effect and tower shadow effectwhich cause the grid power pulse to establish the wind turbine aerodynamic model.By the way, this paper also built a detailed mathematical model of the wind turbinedrive train, and gived the transformation of relations between those different models.This paper built the double-fed induction generator control model with statorvoltage-oriented vector control strategy, a simulation study on the operatingcharacteristics of the doubly-fed wind power generation system. Simulation resultsverified the usefulness and accuracy of the wind turbine system model.For the diffence of inertia between the wind turbine simulator and actual system,this paper has gived a simple inertia simulation method and check with simulaton.Based on the above work, this paper built a double-fed wind power simulationplatform in the laboratory conditions.Experimental verification of simulation algorithm was tested in the wind turbinesimulation platform, the experimental results showed that the model is able to more fully reflect the characteristics of the doubly-fed wind power generation system.Conduct detailed experiments reproduced the periodic pulsation in the wind powerelectricity. Experimental results show that the wind turbine simulation system canreflect the grid power quality in wind power, system stability and grid adaptation suchas LVRT, HVRT and so on. This simulaton platform will provide effective hardwareplatform support for those focus research issues.
