Stepping motor is the electromagnetic actuators which can change some certain sequences of electrical impulses signal into the line or angle displacement, this is widely used in the digital and computer control and other precision positioning of the control system. The modem science and technology and the development of the production requires that the accuracy of stepping motor in the positioning system should be more and more high. Studying the speed, acceleration and displacement and torque of step motor to realize the fast accurate positioning is very important for improving the system performance. This paper analyzes various motors, and introduces the basic structure and working principle of two phase hybrid stepping motor. After comparison of advantages and disadvantages of various control technologies, the open loop control scheme was designed. Use frequency control and subdivided driving technology, on the basic of analysis of the ladder acc, linear acc and index rules, combines the straight line and index rules to control the speed. To improve the step motor output torque and improve motor resolution and step distance of the homogeneous degree, in view of the two-phase hybrid stepping motor of the operation principle, then gives the trend towards round adaptive control method, successfully make the whole step of motor into a number of more fine micro step, thus improves the stepping motor positioning accuracy. At the same time, use the special drive chip THB7128to design the driving circuits, and set a variety of segmentation modes. Use the combination of IIMI and PLC to realize drive the step motor to finish the positioning control of experiment object-XYZ3d platform. Effectively solved the stepping motor small step and high resolution, reduced the stepping motor’s low frequency vibration and noise the stepping motor.
