BRT is a kind of high quality, high efficiency, low energy consumption and low pollution, low cost form of public transport. Which is continuous spreaded of the various countries in the world. For BRT, BRT station is an important infrastructure and key nodes. The layout design of BRT station has a direct impact on operating efficiency and service levels of the BRT, Even affect the overall urban environment.This paper based on theory and practice. Mainly research the site spacing optimization, site selection optimization, site design optimization of BRT.For the site spacing optimization, The paper on the basis of previous studies, In the comprehensive consideration of interests of the passengers, bus operating company, social, With the aim of the maximization of Social and economic benefits, Set up the stand spacing optimization model, and Guangzhou BRT pilot line as an example to validate the model feasible and scientific. In addition, through the model analysis, analyzing the sensitivity of the main parameters of model.For the site selection optimization, Based on analyzing the influence factors of the stop position, Qualitative comparative analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the site settings in the sections, the intersection of the upstream and downstream of the intersection, Also studied bus rapid transit site relative to the position of the intersection related problem,Puts forward Suggestions of site selection.For the site design optimization, discusses the advantages and disadvantages of Island-Platform and side-platform, Provide a reference for the site selection.Combined with China’s actual conditions improves the calculation method of BRT station berths. The calculation methods are given to the length of linear bus stop and bay-type bus stop and the width of exit, pitted and mixed platform.At last, this paper makes a conclusion, and comes up with the further research topics.
