Railway and highway often select along the river to build.So the construction of hydropower stations make the safety impact of existing railway and highway in the reservoir area more and more prominent.It is a very common problem that most slopes of the roadbeds collapse along the reservoir shore which have been completed and began filling with water.But the current theory of the reservoir bank embankment slope stability evaluation is not yet mature,and the accuracy of the evaluation results is prone to controversy. Therefore,it is necessary to conduct a systematic study of this problem.This paper mainly studies the highway roadbed slope which of the ShuiMa highway in the Fulongkou reservoir area, investigates the geological conditions, geotechnical structure, physical and mechanical properties of the roadbed slope, divided the slopes of the roadbeds into five sections to study according to the structural characteristics and material composition of the rock and soil in the embankment slope, as well as the distance of the bank slope and reservoir water.Choose the typical profile, use the Cacho method to prediet recycling width of water impact on reservoir banks embankment slope. The results show that the slope of subgrade in reservoir will produce:reservoir bank slump after reservoir impounding. Among them the first,the second,and the fourth section because of the distance between slope and subgrade is very near, produced reservoir bank slump will have great influence on the stability of roadbed, we should take the effectively reinforce or protection measures.Then use two methods to calculate the slope stability of the roadbed:One is based on the limit equilibrium theory integrating with water-Rock Interaction principle, use bedrock surface as the potential slide surface calculated stability coefficient; The other is based on the GEO-SLOPE automatic search the most dangerous sliding surface and calculated stability coefficient. Through the two methods for the calculation of the stability coefficient, can be obtained by comparison: The calculation result of two methods basically is same; Two methods under different working conditions in the calculation results show that the slope in the storm, roadbed reservoir water plunged sharply and earthquake and stability coefficient under the influence of reduced greatly.Further adopt Geo-Studio software to simulate the natural state and the slope after the impoundment respectively by numerical simulation, obtain the stability coefficient of the roadbed slope and stress deformation characteristics under different working conditions,and then analysis the stability of these sections subgrade slope and puts forward the reasonable prevent or control engineering measures.Finally, put forward reasonable prevention and control measures according to the damage mode of roadbed slope.
