Recently, with the rapid development of high-speed railway construction and the study on related technology, the intercity traffic has been improved greatly in our country. Meanwhile, the influence of ambient vibration induced by the operation of high-speed railway on the residents’ lives and buildings along has attracted attention. The study of the ambient vibration and vibration reduction become an important subject at present. Because of the strict requirements of geological conditions, the viaduct is the preferred mode of the design of high-speed railway. The numerical analysis of ambient vibration based on viaduct has definite guiding significance in the control of ambient vibration. In this paper, based on the finite element theory and the ANSYS software, the ambient vibration of an on-building high-speed railway viaduct is analysed as well as the methods of vibration isolation. The conclusions can provide some reference for the study of ambient vibration and the vibration control. The main contents is as follow:1. A beam element model of the high-speed railway viaduct is established, and the modal analysis is carried out. The dynamic response of viaduct and the support reaction are calculated by simulating the high-speed train with a series of moving load.2. The three-dimensional solid element pier-soil model is established with the load of the support reaction and the constraint of viscous-spring artificial boundary. The dynamic response of the model is analysed. The propagation law of the ambient vibration induced by the high-speed railway viaduct is analysed qualitatively and quantitatively.3. The influencing factors of the ambient vibration induced by high-speed railway viaduct as the velocity of the train, the depth of the pile foundation and the size of pile cap are analysed.4. The methods of vibration isolation of high-speed railway viaduct are discussed. The isolation characteristics and effect of isolation trench is carried out by numerical analysis, as well as the effect of the depth and the width on isolation trench.
