The design to numerious high pillar bridge in mountainous area is always the difficult and key work in recent years, and the response analysis under earthquake load has been gotten more and more attention in civil engineering.Based on the analysis of the bridge response spectrum method under earthquake as well as reducing shakes theory and the relevant research works, taking the ZhuShenMiao bridge of the Guangnan expressway-GN4as an example, a finite element model of whole bridge by finite element software MIDAS/CIVIL is established, then the spectrum response and aseismic design of this bridge have been studied in this thesis.The main research contents include:(1) Calculated the bridge self vibration characteristics, then using the spectrum method, calculated the vertical and horizontal force response under earthquake loading.(2) Some technologics such as keeping off blocks in vertical and hozrizontal directions, longitudinal tension bars, have been used in the design. Some design suggestions to the bridge have been given by analyzing the varions factors affecting the effects of reducing shakes.
