Study On Urban Greenway Network Construction

This paper mainly research about method of construction the urban greenway network, which includes selection it’s node, choosing which street can be used and determining it’s width. The first chapter introduces background, object, reletive conceptions, scope, development of greenway, greenway network and urban greenway, research moethods and framework. The second chapter reserches about construction urban greenway thories. Through the basic thory research, the paper summarizes the consturction methods in different levels and functions. Then, analyzes which of them suit for construction urban greenway, and which of them should be adjusted and improved. Finally, through absorbing suitable methods and improving not suitable methods, produce this paper construction urban greenway network method. Lastly, simply introduces releative thories and technologies. The third chapter is the most imporant part in this paper, which focuses on the manner of realization constrction urban greeenway network method. This part covers five basic steps:collection foundation data, determine construction goal, selction urban greenway network nodes, urban greenway network land suitability analysis and determine urban greenway network width. The key point of this chapter is using multi-criteria decision analysis and GIS software to complete urban greenway land suitability analysis, including positive and negtive affecting criterions analysis and all of criterions overlaying analysis. And the posistive criterions contain supply resource anlysis and residents demand analysis. The fouth chapter is a Chengdu urban greenway network construction empirical research. Compare Chengdu urban greenway network which using the third chapter method construction with existing Chengdu urban greenway network, then discover and sunnmarize the differences and the cause between them. In the end, the paper states the important innovations and puts forward the points and the need for further research and improvement.
