The computer interlocking system is used to control and supervise the equipments in the train stops with realizing the interlocking relations between the stops. At present, the interlocking system mainly has6502-electronic-centralized interlocking and computer interlock. With the fast development of electronic technology and communication technology, the computer interlocking system is used more widely today.At present, the interlocking systems which are used widely in train stops are not the real sense of computer interlocking systems. So it becomes a direction of development in computer interlocking system domain to use electronic modules to replace relay for controlling the outdoor equipments, such as switch, track circuit, signals.A new frame structure of electronic interlocking systems is proposed in this paper, according to the research of the architecture and working process of traditional computer interlocking system. The Ethernet is used to contact the interlocking system with the communication machine and interlock machine of this new interlocking system. Firstly the communication standards and security communication accords about the safety of railway signal system are analyzed, and the RSSP-1and RSSP-2railway signal security communication accords which are made by Science and Technology Division of the Ministry of Railways are emphasis studied. And the safety problems in the Ethernet of the electronic interlocking system are carefully analyzed to get safety demand of communication system between the interlock machine and communication equipment. Counter safety communication of railway signal system, there are two defense ways which are safety-related communication technology and access protecting technology. Counter these safety demand, the safety communication function module between the interlock machine and communication equipment is simulation and design with the safety-related communication technology, to enhance the security of data transmission between the interlock machine and communication equipment. Then according to the feature of the electronic interlocking system, the IPSec mechanism is imposed into the secure communication of related equipments. At last, the simulation of secure communication function module which designed by safety-related communication technology is made by the author using VC++6.0.
